Leaks and buzz overcome the differential

Automotif Engine     Differential or often referred to as the differential is a component in the car that serves to continue round the propeller shaft to the rear axle by changing the direction puratan machine and increase the torque. Rear drive car has a forte in terms of stability and good handling. Jeeps, trucks, pickups, buses and the other is a type of car that has a differentia.

The problem most often approached on the differential that hum and leakage that result by the lack of oil and less functional gasket. Two of these problems can be known with a very high differential temperature due to reduced oil. This could lead to engine power into the drop and can result in wasteful fuel engine.

However, to overcome the roaring sound of the leaking guard and can replace or supplement it with a more viscous oil and replace gaskets on guard. Do the following:

• Remove the cap holder bolts differential, starting from the bottom and upwards.

• Before the differential off completely, make sure the tub or pot under the oil reservoir.
• Open the lid and check whether the differential gears inside is not damaged.
• Remove the gasket by using a flat-head screwdriver or pliers exfoliating.
• Clean the differential cover
• Clean also inside the differential of flake iron and residual oil if diperiukan.
• Once everything is complete, install the new gasket and cap differential. To prevent leaks could use a special silicon alternatives on the differential cover (not mandatory).
• After the meeting, fill the oil differential.
• Start the car to make sure the differential does not leak anymore.
